Before I get into anything, I'd like to sincerely thank Paul Palcko for allowing me to take part in Clowntastrophe. He did a great job of keeping us informed, and he was courteous in every single correspondence I had with him. The work on the show's blog is phenomenal, and it will be awesome just to have work alongside the contributing artists of Clowntastrophe.
That said, here is my contribution to the Clowntastrophe show. It's Snooki, from the MTV show, Jersey Shore. I personally have no problem with the cast of that show, but I know that there are some guys who, if they were lined up across from a row of circus punks with a baseball in their hand trying to win a stuffed giraffe for their best girl, may enjoy throwing at the one that looks like Snooki, or anyone else from that cast. Some folks are rubbed the wrong way by those kids.

What a peach.
I don't get the chance to customize a circus punk everyday, so I decided I would take a chance, and make this more of a sculpture project than a drawing project--which was both exciting and terrifying, as I haven't done a sculpture project since my foundation year 3D class at UArts, and I missed failing it by the skin of my teeth. This was a welcome break from drawing, however, and I enjoyed it immensely.
I tried to use objects relative to the person. The eyes are fake nails, the nose is a pig (her tactics for catching the eye of gentlemen she fancies gross some viewers out, and pigs are gross--this is not intended as a commentary on her weight, but I can't tell you how to interpret it), and the mouth is a Snickers wrapper (Snickers is a nickname for her nickname).
Here's how it came about.
